Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be an integral part of the business unit finance team to support the delivery of our near and long-term financial objectives. We are looking for someone to perform a variety of financial analyses, forecasting, budgeting and reporting. This role will help turn raw data into insights that will drive process improvements. The successful Financial Analyst will be an ultimate collaborator, teaming up with various departments and plant locations to come up with solutions that make everyone’s jobs easier.
Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, substation, traffic, and telecom applications. With over sixty years of innovative engineering and manufacturing expertise, Meyer has helped to author and validate many of today’s transmission industry standards and specifications.
What You’ll Do:
Perform detailed job/order cost analysis of operational and financial data to help validate existing cost assumptions and communicate results
Build and manage financial databases to help expedite decision making through the use of dashboards and reporting
Consult with and advise lines of business, ensuring business decisions are well supported with reliable financial models
Support period-end close processes which may include reconciliation of internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing revenue and expense accruals and reviewing accuracy of revenue, gross margin and expense information
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring that financial information is recorded and presented accurately
Work with multiple systems for use in information retrieval and analyses
Identify and implement processes and improvements in planning, analysis, reporting and monitoring of both financial and non-financial measures
Leverage information technology to automate, streamline and integrate processes
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
7+ years’ experience in finance/accounting with 3+ years’ experience specific to a manufacturing/job costing environment
Thorough knowledge of business process analysis
Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience with reporting systems such as PowerBI, OneStream or Hyperion Essbase
Experience with large ERP systems – Oracle, SAP, etc.
