We’re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. Position Overview The Financial Analyst will support financial planning and data analysis for The Gardner School. This role will focus on building financial models, compiling and organizing data, and preparing reports that will be used by senior leadership for strategic decision-making. The position will work closely with the VP of Finance and CFO to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Key Responsibilities Data Compilation & Management:

Extract, clean, and analyze data from various systems to ensure accuracy and integrity. Assist in the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to visualize key financial and operational metrics. Aggregate and structure financial and operational data for analysis by leadership.

Financial Modeling & Reporting:

Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to forecast revenues, expenses and cash flow projections. Collaborate with department heads to assist in the annual budget and quarterly forecasts process. Track key financial and operational metrics. Assist in ad hoc financial projects as needed. Prepare financial data for review and presentation by senior leadership. Assist in the preparation of monthly presentations and board materials.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve data reporting efficiency. Support system enhancements to streamline financial reporting. Assist with automation initiatives to improve data extraction and reporting accuracy.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field Additional Qualifications & Skills 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a service-oriented industry. Solid foundation in accounting principles and the ability to apply them effectively in analysis and reporting. Strong proficiency in Excel.

Financial Modeling:

Building models for forecasting outcomes and scenario analysis.

Technical Skills:

Experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) and data extraction tools (SQL, Python, etc.) is a plus.

Analytical Thinking:

Ability to interpret complex datasets and identify trends Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
