This position involves overseeing the entire revenue cycle, from patient registration to billing and collections. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of claims, maintain compliance with regulations, and work collaboratively with various departments to optimize revenue flow. Duties Manage patient accounts from registration through billing and collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies. Review and process insurance claims, verifying information and resolving discrepancies as needed. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their accounts, addressing inquiries and providing support. Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation for claim submissions. Monitor accounts receivable reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to revenue cycle management. Stay updated on industry regulations and changes affecting billing practices. Skills Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software. Excellent analytical skills for reviewing financial data and identifying discrepancies. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare staff. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
