SUMMARY:
- This position will be part of the Corporate Treasury Leadership Teamfocused on directing Tyson’s cash management activities, as well assupporting various treasury-related projects as needed.
This pivotalposition, will own and oversee critical processes while contributing tostrategic initiatives and will report to the Assistant Treasurer.
This position will need to demonstrate leadership and businesspartnership with both internal customers as well as external financialinstitutions. It also requires a continuous improvement mindset and theability to challenge the status quo.
This role will be primarily responsible for providing strategicdirection and guiding the team in the following areas
- Cash Management

- >“•Oversee daily management of domestic cash activities•Execute cash management strategies to optimize liquidity and mitigate risks•Develop strategies to maintain adequate liquidity levels, including utilization of the commercial paper program and the syndicated credit facility“`{=html}

- >“•Manage excess cash investment portfolio and work closely with banks and Treasury team to enhance yield within the policy constraints.

- >“•Bring a digital mindset to Treasury and champion leveraging technology in processes across Treasury with a view to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of operations•Evaluate and implement treasury technology solutions including, AI, automation and a Treasury Management Systems (TMS) as approved.

- >“•Manage cash and transaction banking relationships with the current bank group and identify potential new bank partners to support Tyson’s growth initiatives.

- >“•Review the performance of investments for COLI and non-COLI assets for ESP and RIP non-qualified retirement benefit plans•Monitor funding status of these plans and make recommendations for cash infusion for the approval by the Assistant Treasurer.

- >“•Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting for the Domestic Treasury activities•Take the lead and support other team members in establishing and maintaining robust controls covering all Treasury processes.

- >“•Identify and implement process improvements that reduce financial and operational risks.

- >“•Team Leadership•Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members.
Provide daily work direction, manage workload and evaluate resource requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, orrelated field required. MBA, CTP, or treasury finance-related advanceddegree preferred.
- Experience
- : 7+ years’ experience in a Treasury and/or financerelated position. Experience in cash management, financial reporting,fi ancings and contract negotiations preferred.

Technology Skills:
- Experience in evaluating and implementingtechnology solutions for finance / treasury functional area.

Computer:
- Standard computer skills required. Advanced Excel skillswith financial functions used in financial analysis includinglease-vs-buy, IRR, and MIRR are required knowledge for this position.

Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communicationskills and strong negotiation and relationship management skillsrequired. Role also requires good interpersonal skills, including theability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners andleaders.

Special Skills:
- Advanced understanding of cash managementstrategies, working knowledge of capital market activities andunderstanding lease financing.

Supervisory:
- This position will have 1 direct report.

Travel:
- 1 to 3 domestic trips per year.
