Accounting Manager Position Available In Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Accounting Manager Coastal Luxury Homes LLC Westport, CT 06880 • Hybrid work Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice coding, company cashflow, financial reporting, client statement overview, etc. Create, manage, and optimize all accounting related software and systems for the company. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Work closely with the CFO, Head of Operations, and Project Managers to manage company cashflow, help with forecasting/budgeting, and analyze financial data to advise on business strategy and decisions. Coordinate with Project Managers and other team members to create, send, and monitor invoices and change orders to clients. Coordinate with Head of Operations and Project Managers to ensure that project budgets, invoices, CMs are in alignment. Work closely with the Head of Operations, CEO, and other team members to produce and update BOEs, Proformas, and other financial projecting documents. Supervise and mentor a junior accounting team member, and any other accounting team members that are onboarded. Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies or errors. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Provide support for payroll processing and tax reporting, as needed. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, including preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports. Work with external auditors and manage audit preparation and processes, as necessary.
