Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership:
Provide financial planning, forecasting, and recommendations tosupport stabilization and long-term growth. System Overhaul ⪻ocess
Improvement:
Assess and improve all finance-relatedsystems, policies, and procedures with an eye on sustainability andscalability.
Budgeting & Cash Management:
Oversee accounting,payroll, budgeting, and cash flow, ensuring timely reporting andalignment with organizational goals.
Financial Analysis & DecisionSupport:
Analyze complex financial data and translate insights intoactionable recommendations for leadership and the board.
RiskManagement & Cost Optimization:
Identify areas for financial riskmitigation and lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency andoperational effectiveness.
Audit, Compliance & Grants Management:
Lead annual GAAP audits, IRS Form 990 filings, and oversee grantsadministration with a focus on internal controls and regulatorycompliance.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead a lean but committedfinance team-including FP&A, general accounting, andprogram-related financial staff-fostering a collaborative andmission-aligned culture.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred 7years of progressive financial leadership, ideally in nonprofitsettings Deep knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit compliance, and grantsaccounting Experience with systems implementation, financialturnarounds, and leading organizational change A builder’smindset-comfortable with ambiguity, excited by transformation, anddriven by mission ZRCFS
