The Vice President, BDO Capital Advisors is an integral part ofthe transaction and business development team. This role overseesthe preparation of financial analyses, conducts due diligence,develops marketing materials, and participates in the execution ofa wide variety of transactions. This position also plays anintegral role in managing client interactions as well as leadingmarketing efforts. Additionally, the Vice President, BDO CapitalAdvisors is actively involved in the recruiting and training ofjunior professionals. Ideal candidates for this position aredynamic, highly motivated individuals with a strong work-ethic anddemonstrate a commitment to the growth of the firm as a leader inthe middle market.
Job Duties:
Manages and reviews work product ofjunior investment banking professionals Supports Managing Directorsin all aspects of firm marketing, business development, and dealexecution Oversees the preparation, analysis, and explanation ofhistorical and projected financial information Oversees businessdue diligence Oversees the preparation of confidential informationmemoranda, management presentations, marketing materials, pitchbooks, and other presentations as needed Oversees the creation ofquantitative analyses, financial models, company valuationanalyses, etc. Performs extensive and in-depth industry research tosupport client and marketing engagements Builds relationships andmaintains direct contact with clients, prospective clients, andprofessional advisors Develops and implements a personal businessdevelopment program to position the role for long-term successOther duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervisesand leads a small team of Associates/Analysts May act as a CareerAdvisor to Associates and Senior Associates, as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, requiredMBA, preferred
Experience:
Seven (7) or more years of professionalwork experience with a minimum of 4 years of direct transactionexperience preferably within Investment Banking or other financialvertical, required
License/Certifications:
FINRA Series 7/79 and63, required
Software:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft OfficeSuite, required Research tools such as CapitalIQ, preferred
Language:

Superiororganizational and time management skills and the ability toefficiently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced workenvironment Excellent written and verbal communication, listening,problem solving, interpersonal, and relationship-building skillsStrong financial modeling, research, and financial analysis skillsAbility to conduct thorough, independent quantitative andqualitative research Ability to travel as needed Individualsalaries that are offered to a candidate are determined afterconsideration of numerous factors including but not limited to thecandidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
