Director of Revenue Cycle Management 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 7710 NW 71st Court, Tamarac, FL 33321 We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Revenue Cycle Management to lead our in-house billing and collections operations. This is an in-house position at our main office in Tamarac, FL. This role is critical to optimizing revenue flow across our national network of behavioral health facilities, with a focus on substance abuse treatment services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, and reimbursement. Manage and mentor a team of Medical Billers and Medical Collections Specialists. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including Medicaid requirements. Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve billing efficiency and cash flow. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues and support accurate coding and documentation. Manage relationships with commercial and Medicaid insurance providers to maximize reimbursement. Identify and implement process improvements and technology solutions.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment. Experience SUD/MH required. Strong knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance billing and reimbursement processes. Proven leadership and team management skills. Experience working in a multi-state or national healthcare organization preferred. Familiarity with relevant billing software and EHR systems.
