Job Description

Revenue Manager Sunseeker Florida, Inc. Charlotte Harbor, FL Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a Revenue Manager! The Revenue Manager will be responsible for the preparation of revenue reports that will assist the Director of Revenue in implementing the Hotel’s yield strategies as well as actioning the appropriate decisions. In addition, the Revenue Manager will be required to review and analyze reports such as PMS reports, Ideas, Lighthouse BI, Demand 360 and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities for the hotel. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices and procedures. Job Duties Accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly revenue reports. The reports include market segmentation analysis, production reports, source contribution analysis, daily pick-up reports, etc. Assist with ensuring all rates are loaded and inventory maintenance is correct. Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems to ensure content and information is correct. Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required. Assist Group Rooms Coordinator in maintaining group pick-up reports and communicate with Sales regarding upcoming groups cut-offs. Maintain knowledge of all hotel products, room types, rates and promotions Participate in daily & weekly revenue management meetings and attend other meetings as required. Monitor and analyze the competition daily / weekly through shop reports and the Internet to identify selling strategies and market trends. Act as the Director of Revenue in their absence. Assist in preparing short- and long-term forecasts and able to maintain confidentiality of information. Review and analyze reports such as OTA Insights, STR, Demand 360, and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities. Update MARs in Sales & Catering System as required under the guidance of the Revenue Managers to ensure optimal use by sales team Analyze local events and activities and project the effect of opportunities they create. Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. Prepare 14 Day Forecast for distribution to Management team so proper staffing levels are achieved. Conduct Group audit checks (at least monthly) to ensure Delphi and the Property Maintenance System are in balance. Place test calls to the property to ensure accuracy of rate quoting, restrictions and selling approach. Exercise discretion and independent judgment when evaluating new programs, new services and new ideas Stay abreast of property goals in order to create, support and present departmental goals to executive leadership Continue to learn and be on the forefront of new technology for the hotel industry Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards Proactively seek guest feedback and liaise with other departments when opportunities present themselves ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience Manage guest requests and own all complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest’s satisfaction Develop collaborative relationships and synergy with all support departments such as Convention Sales & Services, Facilities, Security, Front Services, Front Office, F&B, Golf Course and Executive Offices Foster a management team that possesses and delivers on key strategies of guest service, team member relations, team cooperation, financial responsibility and asset management Ensure all accounting, payroll and team member relations matters are handled in compliance with company policy Perform other functions as needed Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration preferred Minimum of one (1) year of experience in revenue management Previous experience in a large scale hotel/resort setting highly preferred. Knowledge of all industry reports such as STR, Demand 360, OTA Insights Other Minimum Requirements Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Proficient in Excel, revenue management systems and data analytic tools Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays Excellent customer service skills and Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
