Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Manager – Value Added to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead a team that supports operations by managing payables, receivables, and financial reporting for assigned business segments. You’ll be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, while collaborating with other finance leaders to drive strategic success across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or Master’s preferred) Proven experience managing a finance/accounting team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with multi-company financial reporting and consolidation Experience in AP, AR, budgeting, and forecasting Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Power BI experience a plus Experience in foodservice or agriculture industries a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting Oversee timely, accurate financial reporting for assigned business segments and Famous companies. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial summaries to the Controller. Analyze and explain operational P&L and balance sheet performance. Deliver weekly profit reports, monthly budget vs. actual analysis, and lead sheet explanations. Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting processes. Accounts Payable & Receivable Manage AP process from invoice intake to payment, ensuring coding accuracy and timely disbursements. Monitor AP subledger weekly for outstanding items. Oversee AR billing, collections, adjustments, and weekly subledger reviews. Manage rebate reconciliations and processing. General Ledger & ERP Integration Maintain consistency in GL setup across ERP systems. Ensure proper rollups/mapping of accounts in financial reports. Review and approve all manual journal entries during closing. Operational Support & Collaboration Partner with GMs and operational teams to provide financial insights and respond to reporting needs. Communicate regularly with leadership on financial trends, risks, and opportunities. Identify bottlenecks in processes and implement efficiency improvements. Team Leadership Manage and develop a team of accountants and clerks supporting financial functions. Provide clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable. Support ongoing employee training and development.
