Job DetailsSUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedAccounting Manager to oversee our financial procedures and ensurecompliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for managing the accounting team, preparing financialreports, improving systems and processes, and ensuring the accuracyof financial information.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Financial Reporting &Month-End Close Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-endclose processes. Prepare and review accurate and timely financialstatements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).Ensure all financial records and reports are maintained incompliance with company policies and GAAP. Perform varianceanalysis and provide explanations for significant fluctuations.

General Ledger Management Maintain the integrity of the generalledger and chart of accounts. Ensure accurate journal entries,accruals, and reconciliations. Review and approve adjustingentries, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Internal Controls& Compliance Design, implement, and monitor internal controls tosafeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financialregulations. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GAAP, andother relevant financial standards. Coordinate with externalauditors and manage audit processes, including preparation of auditschedules and responding to audit inquiries. Team Leadership ⋑ervision Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals,including AP/AR specialists and staff accountants. Set goals andperformance standards, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoingtraining and development. Foster a culture of accountability,accuracy, and continuous improvement. Budgeting & ForecastingSupport Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets andfinancial forecasts. Analyze trends and financial performance toprovide actionable insights. Assist with financial modeling andlong-range planning efforts. Systems & Process ImprovementRecommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiencyand accuracy. Evaluate and optimize the use of accounting softwareand ERP systems. Lead or support finance-related system upgrades orimplementations.

KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or a related field. 5 years of progressive accountingexperience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managementrole. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Experience managing month-end close and preparing financialstatements. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs,financial modeling). Experience in a fast paced, high volume,multiple company environment. Prior experience in a manufacturingenvironment and/or inventory accounting preferred but not required.
