We are currently seeking a Manager – Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting for our Jacksonville office.

What You’ll Do:

The Manager of Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership in a fast-paced architectural and engineering consulting firm. This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting to drive data-driven decision making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of financial metrics in a project-based services environment, and experience presenting financial insights to executives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the PowerBI financial reporting improvement initiative for Prime AE and establish the framework for proper reporting of all key metrics and work with IT to establish the foundation of our data warehouse structure. Provide dashboards to report on all key business and project metrics within Prime AE.
Lead the financial systems administration of Vantagepoint within Prime AE
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes in collaboration with department and project leaders.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic planning, project tracking, and scenario analysis.
Deliver monthly and quarterly financial performance reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with operations, business unit leaders, and project managers to interpret financial results and KPIs.
Monitor project profitability, resource utilization, backlog, and other key performance indicators.
Coordinate financial data consolidation and develop executive-level dashboards and board reports.
Support pricing strategies, proposal development, and profitability analyses for new business opportunities.
Evaluate financial performance against budgets and forecasts and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to increase forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
Assist in corporate strategic initiatives, including capital planning, M&A support, and cost optimization projects.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with company financial policies and reporting standards.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic planning, project tracking, and scenario analysis.

What You’ll Bring:

MBA or equivalent degree.
12+ years of financial reporting experience and 5+ years in a management role. Excellent PowerBI knowledge and development skills with the ability to create complex dashboards and reporting systems.
Excellent knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint from a reporting and project accounting perspective.
Excellent Excel skills and proven ability to develop and maintain large, complex models containing large datasets.
Able to manage project accountants and train project accountants on job responsibilities.
Strong ability and knowledge to train project managers on proper project accounting processes.
Strong Vantagepoint systems administration skills.
Experience in analysis and integration processes for acquisitions.
Excellent analytical abilities.
Strong Accounting knowledge and experience.
Strong communications skills.
Excellent customer services skills to deal with all internal clients and external vendors.
Strong managerial and leadership skills.
Proven managerial abilities with teams of 5 or more employees.
Growth potential to raise to the CFO role in the near future.
