Accounting Manager We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, manage financial reporting, and drive process improvements for multi-state organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financials, maintaining a strong internal control environment, and supporting strategic business decisions through insightful reporting and analysis.

  • Lead core accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and tax compliance.
  • Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
  • Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide variance explanations to inform business strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Partner with operations to deliver financial insights that drive performance and cost improvements.
  • Oversee audit preparation, ensure accurate historical records, and support external audit activities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff; manage workload allocation and performance support.

    Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI, ERP, or financial reporting systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive continuous improvement.
