This position is primarily responsible for monitoring the financial statement close process and performing a variety of financial reporting and corporate accounting functions to support the creation of accurate financial statements on a timely basis. Overview
Manage a corporate team of three accountants and work closely with international accountants.
Manage the daily operations of the corporate general ledger department to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Review and post journal entries as needed. Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline and ensure reconciling items are resolved timely. Prepare consolidated balance sheets, P&Ls and cash flow statements on a monthly basis.
Prepare monthly working capital analysis.
Prepare quarterly reporting package for parent company. Perform global lease accounting under ASC 842. Perform accounting for intercompany notes and oversee general intercompany process.
Assist in resolving all accounting-related issues and supporting global accounting and corporate tax teams with statutory audits.
Supervise, train, and mentor accounting seniors and staff by providing guidance for day-to-day tasks, as well as evaluating and providing opportunities for skillset development based on needs and demonstrated abilities of team members.
Assist with the external audit process and prepare the GAAP checklist and related financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, accounting principles, best practices and reporting requirements throughout the accounting organization and ensure appropriate cross training. Utilize financial data to proactively identify areas for process improvements, standardization and automation. Assist with miscellaneous projects as requested. Knowledge & Application

Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and development. Requirements
Education & Work Experience Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting from a four-year college or university
5-10 years of general accounting experience, including 1+ year of supervisory responsibility
Experience with accounting in a multinational, multicurrency entity is required
Experience preparing financial statements and footnotes is required
Experience with Blackline is a plus
