Overview:

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Controller / Financial Operations Manager to join our growing team. This vital role supports and manages the financial and administrative functions of the business, including payroll, vendor relations, accounting processes, insurance coordination, and executive task support. If you’re highly organized, tech-savvy, and willing to learn, we’ll invest in training and development to help you thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process and manage weekly payroll, timesheets, and job codes; coordinate with payroll providers + Record and reconcile receipts, invoices, and credit card transactions in QuickBooks + Manage outgoing payments, recurring expenses, and vendor disbursements + Coordinate insurance documentation (vehicle, workers comp, COIs, etc.) + Assist with hiring: draft job postings, schedule interviews, and support onboarding + Participate in weekly cash flow planning meetings with ownership + Lead and organize internal operational meetings (e.g., Level 10 / L10) + Support executives with scheduling, vendor management, and task follow-ups + Order marketing materials and company merchandise as needed + Input and manage work orders and invoice records in

QuickBooks Qualifications:

+ Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail + Comfortable using QuickBooks, spreadsheets, and modern business software + Effective communicator, proactive problem-solver, and adaptable team player + Self-starter who can take ownership of tasks and see them through + Prior experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or office operations a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
