Description We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. As an Accounting Manager, you will be expected to manage a variety of accounting tasks, including full cycle accounting, accounts receivable and payable, and the utilization of various accounting software systems. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting activities
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Utilize accounting software systems effectively
- Handle financial services using ADP
- Use BlackLine for financial automation and regulatory compliance
- Employ Concur for travel and expense management
- Implement ERP for better enterprise resource planning
- Oversee all accounting functions and ensure they are carried out efficiently
- Manage the auditing process
- Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
- Experience with ADP – Financial Services is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with BlackLine software would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Concur software is required.
- Must have experience with ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various accounting functions is essential.
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and management.
- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) procedures and management.
- Proficiency in auditing practices and principles.
- Experience with billing functions is essential.
