Ourcompany is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AccountingManager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position thatprovides an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in ouraccounting and finance department. The successful candidate will beresponsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of ouraccounting operations, including accounts payable, accountsreceivable, cash flow, month and year-end close, sales tax,payroll, payroll tax, and inventory reconciliation. This rolerequires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who candrive efficiency and improve our financial processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of theaccounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cashreceipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury,budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure varianceanalysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed assetactivity, debt activity, etc. 2. Monitor and analyze accountingdata and produce financial reports or statements. 3. Establish andenforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. 4.Coordinate and complete annual audits. 5. Provide recommendationsto improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.6. Meet financial accounting objectives. 7. Ensure an accurate andtimely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close. 8. Ensure the timelyreporting of all monthly financial information. 9. Collaborate withthe other finance department managers to support overall departmentgoals and objectives. 10. Advise staff regarding the handling ofnon-routine reporting transactions. 11. Respond to inquiries fromthe director of finance, firm-wide manager, and other finance andfirm-wide managers regarding financial results, special reportingrequests, etc. 12. Work with the controller to ensure a clean andtimely year-end audit. 13. Supervise the general ledger group toensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. 14. Assist in thedevelopment and implementation of new procedures and features toenhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2.Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountantdesignation preferred. 3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in asenior-level finance or accounting position. 4. Knowledge offinance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principlesincluding Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. 5. Knowledge ofautomated financial and accounting reporting systems. 6. Knowledgeof federal and state financial regulations. 7. Ability to analyzefinancial data and prepare financial reports, statements, andprojections. 8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or relatedsoftware. 9. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to drivingand achieving results. 10. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills. 11.
