The unit plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of various third-party cloud financial systems, which include systems related to payment processing, travel, vendor management, procurement, and accounts payable. Responsibilities The Financial Systems Manager will support the management, maintenance, and enhancement of third-party cloud financial systems used by the Controller’s Office. This position plays a key role in ensuring system functionality supports business processes, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will provide leadership and management within the Financial Systems team, while ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and security of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of third-party cloud-based financial systems, including the university’s payment card system, travel system, vendor intake system, and digital mailroom for accounts payable. Supervise and mentor a team of three Financial Systems Analysts, managing workload distribution, professional development, and performance evaluations. Serve as a liaison between financial system end-users, ITS, and external vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system solutions. Ensure system functionality supports business processes, financial reporting, and compliance requirements, collaborating closely with end-users and stakeholders. Assist in monitoring system performance, integration, and data accuracy to ensure operational efficiency and system reliability. Provide leadership and management to the Financial Systems area of the Controller’s Office, aligning with the vision, goals, and oversight of the Associate Director, Financial Systems. Oversee and manage the implementation, upgrades, and enhancements of financial systems impacting Controller-owned processes, coordinating with ITS, the Controller’s Office, and other campus stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of experience. (

a combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)
