At Ellenton CPA, we’re seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to lead a full-service accounting team supporting a dedicated portfolio of clients. About the Role
As a Full-Service Team Lead, you’ll work closely with executive leadership to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of all client accounting operations. You’ll oversee a team of professionals ranging from interns to senior accountants and play a hands-on role in managing everything from cash flow and payroll to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Your leadership will drive both team success and exceptional client outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of 4-5 accounting professionals, ensuring high-quality work and team productivityOversee full-cycle accounting operations: AP, AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and cash flow managementPrepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, budgets, KPIs, projections, and rolling forecastsDevelop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and proceduresIdentify and address potential tax and financial planning issues; support client tax readinessMaintain complex schedules (e.g., right-of-use liabilities, WIP schedules, and cash projections)Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholdersRespond to client inquiries and ensure timely, professional communicationTrain, mentor, and support team members’ personal and professional growthAssist with compliance for federal, state, and local regulations and audit readinessContribute to process improvements that support business growth and operational efficiencySupport the Operations Manager and executive team with strategic and confidential projects

Qualifications Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required
• Masters in Accountancy or equivalent preferred

Experience:
