Accounting Manager Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

We are working with a growing company in the health care/ pharmaceutical industry looking for an Accounting Manager. The individual hired will manage accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate accounting, with expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and team leadership. This role is critical in supporting strategic financial goals and maintaining robust internal controls in a dynamic corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing Lead the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries are completed efficiently Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies; coordinate with external auditors for annual audits Supervise and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support corporate decision-making and long-term planning Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Excel to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and monitor financial performance Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a corporate setting In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance Proficiency in ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
