Salary:

$75,000 – $120,000 per year

Our client, a growing real estate developer, is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join its growing team.

Responsibilites:

Direct all accounting operations for multiple real estate development projects, including cost accounting, revenue recognition, and project financial analysis
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for development projects and related entities
Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
Oversee construction draw processes and contractor payment applications
Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and identifying potential cost overruns
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and industry standards
Job Details

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA certification preferred
3+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in real estate development preferred
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and real estate accounting principles
Experience with construction accounting and cost allocation methodologies
