PE backed company looking to bring in a strong Cost Accounting Manager to the team.
Responsibilities:
Month-end closing process related to cost accounting. Ensures subsidiary ledgers stay in balance with the general ledger and that the general ledger is updated in a timely manner. Ability to provide analysis of manufacturing variances, price/volume mix and product costing. Interface with external auditors, provide account analysis and variance explanations. Review and update BOMS and process routers in conjunction with production personnel. Standard cost buildup/cost roll oversight for all facilities and products. Coordination of physical inventory and cycle counting processes in conjunction with plant personnel. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration Recent manufacturing company accounting experience
