Financial Aid Manager Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Financial Aid Manager Confidential Miami-Dade County, FL Meet and greet students, discuss setting a financial aid appointment and advise them to complete the FAFSA accurately. The position evaluates, approves, and awards financial aid to potential and current students in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations, policies, and operating guidelines. Assesses financial needs of students, and advises students and parents regarding financial aid options, processes, and requirements. Evaluates student academic progress, and adjudicates academic progress appeals. Participates as appropriate in systems/procedures planning and management; implements and coordinates specific individual programs and/or assignments, in accordance with the overall objectives of the department.

Qualifications:

Financial Aid Title IV:

3 years (required) Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations, needs analysis and packaging principles, and available financial aid programs Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in
