Position Overview The Pharmacy Hub is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Financial Controller / Billing and Customer Account Manager to oversee our billing operations, accounts receivable, and client account management. This individual will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, enforcing contractual pricing controls, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their accounting teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with operations and technology teams to ensure data accuracy for billing, implement audit controls, and lead the timely resolution of billing and pricing issues that impact collections. This position is essential to driving financial performance and improving back-office efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, and account reconciliation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients and their finance teams to ensure clear communication and effective issue resolution. Design and manage internal audit processes to ensure accuracy in invoicing, payment tracking, and collections. Collaborate with operations and technology teams to optimize financial workflows and support cost-control initiatives. Prepare and present detailed accounts receivable performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership. Monitor daily cash flow and collection activities, ensuring timely posting to customer accounts and accurate status reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning processes related to receivables.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of hands-on experience in billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting. Proven experience managing and developing a team of at least 2 direct reports in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and system implementations or migrations.
Bilingual:
Fluent in English and Spanish. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Work Environment Fast-paced, collaborative office environment. This is a 100% on-site role ; remote or hybrid work is not available.
