Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the accounting and financial reporting functions for our private equity funds. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with deep expertise in fund accounting, financial operations, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes for private equity funds. Prepare and review fund financial statements, investor reports, and capital account statements. Manage capital calls, distributions, and allocations in accordance with fund agreements. Coordinate and review valuations of fund investments and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. Liaise with third-party administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and other external service providers. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP, IFRS, and other industry-specific standards. Assist with fund structuring, fund launches, and operational improvements. Develop and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency. Support senior leadership with financial analysis, investor inquiries, and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA preferred. 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or consulting PE firms. Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and private equity fund structures. Proficiency in fund accounting software and financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
