Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. In this contract o hire role, you will oversee various accounting functions, manage financial reporting, and ensure operational efficiency across multiple locations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting systems and leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a staff accountant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in their work.
  • Prepare and review profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and month-end close reports for 20 locations.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software to manage financial data and reporting processes.
  • Extract and analyze data to support revenue acquisitions and operational workflows.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain smooth financial operations.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
  • Manage billing functions and ensure timely invoicing and payment collection.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions. Requirements
  • Proven experience in accounting management, particularly in overseeing financial operations for multiple locations.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ADP, BlackLine, and Concur.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and overall accounting functions.
  • Experience in financial auditing and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
