Accounting Manager Position Available In Orange, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This is a Contract to permanent position, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in construction accounting and proficiency in QuickBooks. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate job costing and project accounting processes for construction-related financial activities.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare timely financial reports.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and analyze financial records effectively.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate with project managers to review and reconcile project budgets and costs.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level accounting staff.
• Support audits and ensure all financial documentation is accurate and accessible. Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Strong background in construction accounting and knowledge of industry-specific practices.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with job costing.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
