Are you a strategic financial leader with deep expertise in industrial real estate? Do you thrive at the intersection of capital markets, development analysis, and transactional execution? We’re seeking a Vice President of Investments to join our team and drive performance across our industrial real estate platform in the Southeast U.S. This is a high-impact role focused on portfolio growth, capital deployment, underwriting, deal structuring, and financial strategy for a rapidly expanding development and investment company.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of the investment process, including evaluating opportunities, due diligence, underwriting, structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions across target markets. Drive financial analysis and underwriting for land acquisitions, speculative development, and build-to-suit deals. Build and maintain detailed financial models, scenario analyses, and investment memoranda to support executive decision-making. Become a market “expert” and continuously analyze market fundamentals, leasing dynamics, risk factors, and industry trends to identify opportunities and drive investment strategy. Assist with leasing efforts, including conducting property tours, reviewing lease proposals, negotiating lease agreements, and executing the marketing strategy. Partner with capital partners, brokers, and internal development teams to align strategy and structure of deals. Drive capital planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting across all assets under management. Support joint venture structuring, debt placement, and equity fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in commercial real estate private equity, investment banking, or development finance, with a focus on industrial assets. Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling, ARGUS, and financial structuring. Proven track record in acquisitions, development finance, and capital markets transactions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion to drive excellence and a strong desire to learn.
