Doing:
Facilitate financial operations and budgeting processes for various leaders, teams, and departments, acting as a key point of contact between them and the financial leadership. Provide financial reports, analyses, and strategic guidance to support decision-making while helping teams apply financial practices effectively. Support financial systems and processes across the organization, working with leaders to provide expertise in strategic planning, goal setting, analysis, and change management. Attend meetings regularly to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Assist departments and teams through the annual budgeting process, helping submit fiscal year budgets and ensuring alignment with policies and systems. Review all relevant financial Reports for accuracy, advising team leaders of any discrepancies. Process financial requests, including account transfers, wire transfers, and check requests, ensuring timely completion for monthly closings. Collaborate with the Finance Team to develop and implement new processes and policies to improve efficiency, address challenges, and ensure alignment with organizational standards and practices. Administer financial permissions and signature authority for tasks such as MinistryCard enrollment, limits, expenses, reimbursements, payment requests, and transfers up to $25,000, following organizational policies. Audit SPQ requests from teams in preparation for Allocation meetings, ensuring all information is accurate and aligned. Coordinate with the Development department to ensure correct fund designations and proper allocation processing. Monitor and audit functions of the Allocation fund tool to ensure systems support policies, recommending improvements when needed. Provide general financial support to teams and departments, including analytical data, financial forecasting, funding trends, and more, based on their specific needs.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in a financial field. 3 years of experience. Comparable experience is required. Prior Cru experience is preferred.
