We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Analyst to join our team. This role combines core responsibilities in revenue strategy and performance analysis with oversight of reservation processes to ensure accurate inventory control, rate integrity, and optimal booking conversion. You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and front office teams to drive revenue and deliver a seamless guest booking experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly hotel performance reports (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR). Provide pricing and inventory recommendations across all segments and distribution channels. Support the development and execution of short- and long-term revenue strategies. Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes. Track competitive set performance and market trends; conduct rate shopping analysis. Maintain rate parity across all online travel agencies (OTAs). Work closely with front office, sales, and marketing to optimize group and transient business mix. Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and ownership review. Support implementation and use of revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and other analytical tools. Identify new opportunities for improving profitability and operational efficiency. Manage and monitor daily reservation activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency in room bookings. Review incoming reservations for rate accuracy, special requests, and overbooking risk. Ensure consistent application of pricing, cancellation policies, and booking procedures. Address escalated guest inquiries related to rates, availability, and booking adjustments. Hospitality industry experience is required, preferably in revenue management, reservations, or front office operations. 1-3 years of hands-on experience in hotel revenue or reservations-related roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with RMS (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto), PMS (e.g., Opera), and CRS platforms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
