Revenue Cycle Manager Neurology/Epileptology Practice in Orlando 2881 Delaney Avenue, Orlando, FL 32806 Overview The Revenue Cycle Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the financial processes of healthcare services. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire revenue cycle, from patient registration to billing and collections, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of healthcare billing practices. Responsibilities Manage patient accounts from registration through billing and collections. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient services. Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding claims. Resolve discrepancies related to billing issues, denials, and payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of patient accounts and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate coding and documentation for services rendered. Generate reports on revenue cycle performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries regarding billing statements and payment options. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Previous experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare billing is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding (CPT, ICD), and insurance processes. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in healthcare finance is a plus.
