Overview of the Technical Accounting Manager role:
- Support month-end close processes, preparing journal entries and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze reports for leadership, including cost reports, KPIs, and trend analyses.
- Coordinate annual audits and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations.
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and system data integrity.
- Support fundraising and planned giving activities, including trust compliance and donor reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements and financial accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications for the
Techncial Accounting Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
- CPA Required
- Audit background required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning, or reporting
- Proficiency in ERP systems and general ledger management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Knowledge of industry cost reporting, reimbursement, or fundraising compliance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
