Accounting Manager Job Description As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization.

Your role will involve:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Preparing accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitoring budget performance and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

Establishing and maintaining effective internal controls. Conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies. Coordinating with external auditors during annual audits.

Team Leadership and Development:

Managing and mentoring accounting staff. Providing guidance on complex accounting issues. Promoting professional growth within the team.

Process Improvement:

Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes. Implementing best practices to enhance efficiency. Contributing to system upgrades and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles preferred Proficiency in ERP systems, Netsuite ideal Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Experience in a manufacturing environment a major plus
