About the Role This position will work closely with the Corporate Controller and staff of various company entities. The Accounting Manager will ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions for various business entities while maintaining accurate records and internal controls.

experience: 5 Years responsibilities: Drive to ensure monthly closing process is completed timely and accurately including the preparation and posting of entries, review and sign-off on balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of financial statements/variance reports as required. Review of job costs to fixed assets reports monthly to ensure amounts are posted correctly and schedules tie. Follow up on variances as needed. Recording of bi-weekly payroll entries and monthly bonus accruals for all companies. Allocations of indirect costs to projects. Reconciliation of all intercompany accounts across all companies. Recording of consolidation entries monthly. Monthly/quarterly recording of 606 accrual and update of supporting schedules as needed. Monthly pre closing meetings with team to ensure all transactions are identified and then follow-up to ensure transactions are completed and reviewed as necessary. Roll-forward all debt by entity and reconciliation of accounts across all companies. Prepare calculations of any financial convents for review and approval. Compilation of monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages. Recommend and assist in the implementation of improvements and changes to accounting controls, processes, and procedures. Implement processes and organizational measures for the department to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely transactions. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Supervise team members to ensure efficiency and proper operation of the department. Assist in implementation and testing of new ERP system. Assist with annual audits, examinations, or any required review.
qualifications:
Conscientious, detail-oriented, able to produce accurate results and reports with the ability to effectively multitask. Strong US GAAP reporting and interpersonal communication skills. Strong time management and analytical skills. Self-starter with problem solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks and projects. Ability to work independently, plan and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
