General Ledger Accounting Manager Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accounting Manager to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in managing accounting processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overseeing monthly closings, accruals, and other key accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly financial closing processes, including accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate reporting.
• Handle lease accounting tasks while maintaining compliance with applicable standards.
• Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite or Oracle to streamline operations.
• Ensure accuracy in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Conduct audits to verify financial data and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with billing teams to optimize invoicing and collection procedures.
• Use advanced Excel skills to analyze and report financial data.
• Monitor and improve ERP systems to enhance efficiency.
• Work with tools like BlackLine, ADP Financial Services, and Concur to support accounting functions. Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software like NetSuite or Oracle.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of fixed assets, lease accounting, and monthly closings.
• Experience with ERP systems and tools such as BlackLine, ADP Financial Services, and Concur.
• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to conduct audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
