Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor the accounting team, effectively assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring timely completion of deadlines.
Perform meticulous and routine account reconciliations to maintain data accuracy.
Prepare comprehensive and insightful financial statements and reports for monthly finance meetings with senior management and external CPA firms.
Expertly oversee financial audits, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to all relevant regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures to safeguard financial assets.
Conduct in-depth financial data analysis to identify trends, provide actionable recommendations, and drive business improvement.
Manage the preparation and filing of the Annual Report.
Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing.
Lead the development and execution of the annual budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
CPA certification is highly preferred and considered a strong asset.
Demonstrated and progressive experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar senior accounting role.
Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations.
Strong proficiency in utilizing accounting software like QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel expertise is crucial).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
