Bay Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33756 Our company is seeking a financial controller at our 320 unit Senior Living Facility located in Clearwater, FL. This financial controller is responsible for the oversight, and management of all financial functions of our property and the finance team. The following financial functions are essential components of the job (functions are not limited by the following): Must be proficient in QuickBooks Must be proficient in excel Have Billing experience Collections experience Closing of Monthly and Yearly books for the facility- as well as hosting monthly financial meetings to discuss results Experience in inventory management Annual budget planning- oversight, compilation and management of drafting, coaching and completing an annual budget Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Training and coaching financial team members to perform at their best financially to assist with controlling all expenses, and maintaining good operating financials Bank account operations Maintenance of tenant rent roll and monthly billing statements Cash management for the property, financial projections, financial forecasting, and closing monthly books Special projects as assigned (example; annual tax filings, quarterly bank reporting, collection of weekly and monthly cash reports, etc) Lead a department of 3 staff members Candidates must be proficient in the use of Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Candidates must have the ability to do forecasts of future financial results, and account analysis. Ideal candidates have effective verbal, and written communication abilities, and have the ability to multi-task.
