Mortgage Quality Control Analyst The Mortgage Quality Control Analyst is responsible for conducting Quality Control Audits, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This role will play a critical part in identifying operational inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and driving consistency in the execution of mortgage processes. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with a deep understanding the mortgage industry, closing documentation, funding procedures, quality assurance, with the ability to assess risk, and improve overall performance. What you will do… Perform QC Pre Closing and Post Closing audits on residential mortgage loan files. Ensure that all mortgage operations are in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Identify issues that may result in the ineligibility of a loan with investors or the inability to sell a loan on the secondary market. Identify potential risks and proactively implement measures to mitigate them. Analyze reporting related to quality control processes. Communicate effectively and timely with operations staff to address any outstanding, or unresolved issues and escalate critical concerns to Management. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the audit process from beginning to end. Manage time efficiently and prioritize workloads to meet strict deadlines while handling multiple tasks. Must stay current on all agency, state, and federal guidelines, and participate in on-going training as the mortgage industry evolves. Assist with Consumer Loan QC review, ensuring Consumer Loans are within internal policies and regulatory compliance and serve as a back up to the Consumer Loan QC Specialist. Perform other duties or projects, as assigned. What you need….

Education:
