Job Description:

GENERAL FUNCTION

Acts independently withinestablished investment policy guidelines to develop, recommend, andexecute investment programs designed to achieve the objectives oflarge and complex client accounts. Primary functionsincludeinvestmentmanagement, client service and support of newbusiness efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop satisfied clients and new sources of asset managementrevenue through frequent contact, usually forportfolios/relationships of a substantial size andcomplexity.
• Consult with major client relationships to develop investmentobjectives and implement a suitable investment plan and maintain anInvestment Policy Statement for each relationship.
• Working with client advisors, participate in the development ofnew business opportunities by meeting with prospects, preparing andpresenting proposals for investment management.
• Interpret the intentions of the trust or agency agreement andbuild an investment policy to accomplish thoseobjectives.
• Invest assets according to investment policy guidelines todeliver a competitive rate of return within the given level ofrisk.
• Regularly engage with other members of the Wealth Management Teamand external advisors to ensure effective communication regardingclient objectives and coordinate portfolio changes.
• Mentor more junior Portfolio Managers.
• Maintain awareness of new investment strategies, techniques andproducts through regular contact with other industry professionalsand through internal and external research.
• Keep informed of market trends and analyze the effect of thesetrends on client#s investment portfolios.
• Keep current on the legal and tax issues with respect toinvestment decisions by consulting attorneys, accountants and otherresources as needed.
• Follow established investment policies and procedures includingannual account reviews and working to minimize and/or documentexceptions.
