The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining accurate financial records. This role includes managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the organization’s strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Manage the accounting team and ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to enhance financial planning
Coordinate and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee tax filings
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance
Perform variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide insights for decision-making
Oversee month-end close processes and ensure accurate reporting
Manage reconciliations of accounts to maintain accurate financial records
Lead financial analysis initiatives to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
Supervise payroll processing and reimbursement activities
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP systems for streamlined accounting operations
Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation for financial transactions
Foster team leadership and development within the accounting department Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting
Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Experience with general ledger and financial statement preparation
In-depth understanding of tax compliance and auditing principles
Proficient in financial analysis and variance analysis
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
