Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in St. Augustine, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations, conducting market research, and evaluating potential acquisition opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
- Analyze stock valuations and prepare detailed reports to support decision-making.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to optimize cash flow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain accounting systems.
- Lead auditing activities to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
- Supervise billing functions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
- Ensure the effective use of accounting software systems to support business objectives. Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems such as BlackLine and Concur.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing processes.
- Expertise in conducting market research and analyzing stock valuations.
- Familiarity with ADP financial services and related tools.
- Proven ability to manage billing functions and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
