Job Description Your Team The Client Delivery and Investments FP&A team partners with leaders of distribution and investment management to build connectivity between business decisions and finance results, analyze and optimize utilization of firm resources, and drive sound decision making that aligns with Invesco’s strategic goals. Your Role This position is responsible for decision support, financial analysis, business planning, and reporting. Build metric-driven financial models to evaluate profitability, revenue dynamics, cost management opportunities. Developing and maintaining successful relationships within Finance and with key business partners is critical to success.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Analyzing Investments financial results (revenue, expenses and operating income) and relevant trends to identify and understand risks to achieving financial objectives Identifying revenue opportunities and potential cost savings to incorporate into the business financial plan and forecast Designing and Propose methods for ongoing monitoring the business health, including participating in long-term and short-term financial planning Performing detailed analysis of profitability results, inputs and drivers. Developing model outputs and structure to support investment and resource allocation decisions Building and maintaining data and analytics to support compensation plans and models, creating analytics to assess potential scenario outcomes Conducting cost/benefit analyses for strategic business decisions, considering relevant financial and strategic factors and evaluating potential courses of action Creating, maintaining, interpreting, and delivering management reporting through presentations, performance dashboards, and other visual tools for business leaders, including senior executives.
The Experience You Bring:
BS in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline, or MBA with a concentration in Finance or Accounting, CPA or CFA a plus 5-7+ years of Finance experience with a concentration in financial planning, management reporting, quantitative analysis, scenario planning, and decision modeling Prior experience in investment management industry is a plus Knowledge of Oracle and/or Hyperion planning is a plus Knowledge of enterprise business planning platforms e.g. Hyperion, Cognos TM1, Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Oracle and/or Hyperion planning is a plus High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint and Word Able to work with business partners to understand industry dynamics and identify key business drivers and their financial implications Able to continuously develop knowledge of the industry and drive alignment between Invesco strategic goals and FP&A support of the business Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau is a plus Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation Able to work independently to deliver well-rounded analysis that incorporates input from key internal stakeholders Able to work in a team environment across functions and geographic locations Commitment to accuracy and ability to review your own work is a must Full Time / Part Time Full time Worker Type Employee Job Exempt (Yes / No) Yes Workplace Model At Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
