Overview of the Technical Accounting Manager role: The TechnicalAccounting Manager lead the preparation of financial statements anddisclosures in accordance with US GAAP and statutory accountingprinciples. Own the cleanup, optimization, and long-term structureof the NetSuite Chart of Accounts. Provide accounting guidance oncomplex transactions such as reinsurance agreements, investmentinstruments, and revenue recognition. The Technical AccountingManager will collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies,preparing necessary documentation and responses. Support theimplementation and documentation of SOX/internal controls overfinancial reporting. Partner with actuarial, finance, legal, andcompliance teams to ensure accounting policies align acrossdepartments. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s preferred) 5 years inpublic accounting or corporate accounting, ideally within warranty,insurance, or financial services Strong experience with NetSuite ,including COA design/cleanup and vendor integrations (e.g., Ramp,payment processors) In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and financialreporting accounting Exceptional analytical, communication, andorganizational skills Advanced Excel proficiency
