Job Description
Our client in Roswell, GA is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team! The Accounting Manager is responsible for the full accounting function within the US and CAN operating units.

Roswell, GA. Hybrid Schedule (3 days in) Must be able to reliably commute to Roswell.
Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end close process and assist with financial statement review. Collaborate on monthly investigation of variances to budget and forecasts with Director Controlling. Perform account reconciliation and analysis and maintain support at audit-ready level. Ensure all accounts are maintained in accordance with US GAAP. Indirectly manage the AP function, ensuring accurate postings. Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and approve check / payments runs. Collaborate with the departments and business partners to provide ad hoc research, reporting and projects as it pertains to all areas of corporate accounting. Document processes and procedures. Manage ad hoc projects as required. Manage staff accountant(s) by providing coaching and direct feedback which will help them to develop and grow in their career. Liaise with external audit group during annual audit, responsible for timely reporting.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or CPA candidate is a plus but not required. Minimum 7+ years’ experience in accounting or similar functions Experience dealing with inventory. Strong analytical skills using MS Office products including Excel. Strong understanding US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Exposure to businesses with an international presence is a plus. Detail oriented, be a self-starter with a positive and “can-do” attitude. Good problem-solving and time management skills. 2-3 years of experience with supervising/oversight of other staff within accounting/finance departments. Working knowledge of full-cycle accounting including balance sheet reconciliations, cash management/forecasting, check runs, “book” management.
