What you will be doing As the Director of Revenue Strategy, you will play a vital role in coordinating revenue management processes and procedures for our hotels. Your key priorities will be to maximize each hotel’s room revenue and RevPAR index potential. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement pricing strategies, analyze demand factors, and optimize distribution channel strategy. Additionally, you will provide forecasting recommendations to our general managers and conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of the game.
Additional Responsibilities include:
Provide strategies to drive profit of Property to Operations Leaders. Manage relationship with corporate leadership and ownership. Provide analysis, strategies and results on segment strategies using BI tools to determine optimal mix. Identify opportunities through channels and recommend channel marketing. Analyze historical data and future trends on any special events, need dates and/or promotions to maximize revenues. Drive incremental revenue streams – no-show, early departure, room rate differentials, and upgrades. Drive Revenue Management Meetings. Provide Analytical Review of STAR reports, Monthly Performance and Market Conditions. Analyze all related reports and implement recommendations and feedback. Analyze and provide strategies for 53rd week. Develop and monitor sales and pricing strategies. Ensure proper competitor positioning and pricing strategy through effective analysis and reporting. Conduct calls with OTA market managers to discuss the improvement revenues from OTA booking channels. Assist General Managers with room revenue budget and RPI goals. Work with Director of Sales to set group rates. Audit Group Selling strategy for high and low demand periods. Provide recommendation on negotiated business travel and/or wholesale pricing. Assist with Business Evaluations of group and contract business including displacements. Build Relationships with the Key Management Staff of the Property Hotel Team. Effectively communicate revenue management needs with the hotels and train key hotel staff on revenue management related procedures. Review demand, convention and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators as needed. Collaborate with GM, Operations, and Sales to create local packages and promotions. For Large Full-Service Hotels, additional customized scope of services may include: Group/scrub/forecast; Group coordination; Decision maker on group evaluations; F&B/meeting space yield management; Paid media management; Weekly Update/Monthly Discussion; Weekly operational forecast What you bring to the table Multi-unit revenue management experience, Required. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience Hilton Experience, Required. Bonus points for experience with IHG, Hyatt, and/or independent hotels.
