Atlanta, GA (Onsite for 90 days, hybrid schedule thereafter – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate:
$26.44 – $33.17 per hour (based on experience, particularly in higher education)

Flexible 8-hour workday between 7:30 AM – 6:00
PM Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our clients team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, preferably within a higher education setting. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage financial data related to proposals, grants, general appropriations, endowments, and other fund sources. Compile data for budget amendments and budget-related reports. Oversee student accounting functions; coordinate with Financial Aid and Registrar’s Office to resolve payment issues. Manage invoicing and payment processing for Continuing Education programs. Monitor non-student receivable accounts and ensure timely reconciliations and customer query responses. Ensure compliance in gift and endowment accounts; monitor overdrafts and post scholarship awards. Track unit budgets for overdrafts and compliance with grant and budget regulations; prepare budget amendments as needed. Reconcile assigned ledger and clearing accounts; perform necessary financial adjustments. Coordinate cash management functions including deposits, account reconciliation, and credit card processing. Review and approve HR actions, assist with position management, and oversee wage payroll processes. Perform additional duties as assigned to support financial operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field – or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of related financial or administrative experience, ideally within a higher education environment. Why Join Us?
