Job Description
The Manager – ICR (Inspire Company Restaurants) Accounting – Revenue leads the Company’s order to cash process for company-owned stores to ensure complete and accurate close, internal and external reporting and controls over revenue transactions including the sales audit and sales settlement processes. This role will ensure transactions are in compliance with US GAAP. This role will support the vision for the Revenue and ICR Accounting teams by managing the end to end companyowned store revenue cycle, including partnering with various commercial teams, creating efficiency, automation and standardization. This leader will be viewed as the subject matter expert of our systems, sales audit, and sales settlement processes. This position will ensure that revenue accounting policies are executed and documented, along with appropriate governance, controls, segregation of duties. The successful candidate will be action-oriented with a blend of both technical and operational accounting experience related to revenue recognition and will seek to build strong relationships with and deliver superior service to all key stakeholders. This leader will support and drive execution on the ability to scale through people, process, and technology, with synergies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the end-to-end company-owned store revenue processes including sales audit and sales settlement to meet the close and reporting deadlines (subledger and ledger).
- Manage day-to-day activities of team including senior, lead, and staff accountants while assisting them in critical thinking and problem solving of complex issues.
- Partner with Operations, Treasury, Treasury Systems, , and Corporate Accounting teams.
- Coordinate and deliver accelerated month end close processes including financial reporting.
- Manage and supervise the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process activities, including review of journal entries, review of account reconciliations and analyses.
- Responsible for delivery of complete and accurate account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external audits, establish and execute control environment.
- Manage and develop a high-performing team where inclusion and diversity are leveraged for innovation and continuous improvement. Develop a culture of collaboration, training, and success in the revenue organization.
- Integrate acquisition processes and personnel into centralized teams, processes, and systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key operations team members and provide support as required.
- Provide detailed revenue analysis to support FP&A, senior management, and the business.
- Partner with the Finance leadership with ad hoc projects and analysis as required
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
4+yr degree in Accounting or related field
Preferred:
Certified Public Accountant
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Minimum:
5+ years of progressive accounting experience ERP, financial systems experience
