We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Director (Fractional) who can take ownership of the revenue cycle. You must have a proven track record of developing and utilizing KPIs, specifically related to net collection rates, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and cost to collect and be adept at analyzing these metrics to improve performance. Your ability to interpret data, identify gaps, and improve targeted operational improvements will directly impact the company’s financial health and growth. What You’ll Do Lead RCM strategy focused on Medicare and commercial payer optimization Develop clear, actionable KPIs related to revenue cycle performance, including cost to collect, DSO, and net collections. Ensure coding accuracy and maximize reimbursement : “Are we getting reimbursed for all services rendered?” Oversee credentialing workflows (Symplr, CAQH, PECOS management) Maintain CMS compliance and prepare for audits Advise leadership on performance improvement, revenue capture, and growth strategy Manage relationships with outsourced billing partners, in-house billing staff, and coders Why Join Us? Requirements:

What You Need to Succeed 8+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience Athenahealth EMR experience is a must Leadership experience managing coding, credentialing, and billing operations Strong proficiency in Excel, experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for analysis and reporting Proven ability to develop, track, and act upon KPIs that drive revenue and cost efficiencies Proven track record in process improvement and revenue optimization Deep knowledge of CMS, Medicare reimbursement, and ALF billing workflows Ensure revenue cycle processes are patient-centric, to enhance patient experience and satisfaction Entrepreneurial mindset, pro-active problem-solver, and hands-on leader Ascend Medical is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer .
