About this Position The Enterprise Transformation Office at Primerica is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for our portfolio of investments and strategic projects. This role will be responsible for estimating, tracking and reporting on financials across multiple projects, enabling financial processes, working with executive stakeholders, and partnering with business and finance groups across the enterprise. The Finance Manager will play a key role in standing up a finance practice that enables accurate tracking, reporting, and decision-making to optimize investment outcomes, track value and benefit realization, measure strategic KPI’s, and support communications and change management required for the organization and key stakeholders to adopt finance practices and processes. Role will has two direct reports – financial analyst, and transformation change manager. Candidates must live in Metro Atlanta Area to be considered Role requires on-site 2 days a week

Salary Range:

$115K – $130K Responsibilities & Qualifications Develop and implement financial practice, plans and budgets to support enterprise portfolio. Develop and analyze estimates and metrics for strategic investments. Perform ad-hoc, ongoing, and in-depth analysis to inform executive decision-making. Provide financial metrics, recommendations and findings on committed and completed investments to senior management. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), value and financial metrics, identify trends, and issue reports. Report on portfolio financial health on a monthly and quarterly basis, to meet demands from leadership, steering committees, and business management. Develop and drive financial operations to meet the needs of organizational stakeholders and comply with internal process requirements. Support the evaluation and analysis of improvement opportunities and proposals. Partner with finance on capitalization and expensing of portfolio projects. Partner with Finance and Accounting SME’s to support process coordination, visibility, and shared accountability for processes and outcomes. Liaise with the Finance and IT partners to drive decisions, ensure process consistency and track financials. Support business leads in cost benefit analysis for business cases, ROI calculations, and benefit tracking. Own and drive the financial change management activities and communications for enterprise transformation initiatives. Partner with portfolio and business owners to communicate financial best practices, create change management and adoption plans, and mature financial processes. Prepare financial presentations with insights consumable by various organizational stakeholders. Provide coaching and training on relevant practices and processes. Support organization change management through a financial lens. Type of Experience Required 6-10 years of Finance or Accounting professional with experience in Corporate Finance or GAAP Financial Reporting, preferably with experience within the financial services industry. Strong communication and presentation skills, including to leadership and executives. Ability to plan, execute and deliver change solutions based on business and stakeholder needs. Preferred experience in financial platform applications such as Workday Financials, Apptio, Planful, Hyperion, or others Microsoft Excel – minimum intermediate proficiency. Ability to manage priorities and deliverables under pressure, meet deadlines, learn and adapt quickly. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience with financial planning software such as Workday Financials, Apptio, Planful, Oracle, or others. Familiar with project Management Software to plan and monitor initiatives (Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, or similar) is preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders, using analysis, charts, and visuals. Ability to develop meaningful relationships and understanding business needs/processes required to create financial process, insights, and reporting. Able to work independently and provide recommendations to management. Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment required to establish and mature a portfolio management practice. Preferred Education, Experience, Certifications or Licenses, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related fields is preferred.
