Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join a generalist PE firm based in Boston specializing in Buyouts and Growth Equity transactions.
The Associate will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company initiatives alongside senior team members.
Qualifications
2-3 years of investment banking, private equity, management consulting experience
Strong analytical skills and experience building complex financial models from scratch
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and within a lean, fast-paced team
Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; MBA not required
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including LBO modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis
Lead due diligence efforts, working with legal, accounting, and industry experts
Develop investment memos and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., IC, LPs)
Perform market and competitive research to identify and evaluate new opportunities
Support portfolio company monitoring and value-creation initiatives
Collaborate with management teams on strategic growth projects and operational improvements
